Company
Slate Cadence is a small, self-funded team. We sell one product to people who use it, which keeps the incentives short and the roadmap honest.
We kept watching teams ship a heavy analytics stack, argue about a consent banner for a quarter, and then still not be able to answer "did the new onboarding help?" without exporting to a spreadsheet. The tooling had grown enormous while the questions stayed small.
So we built the narrow thing: capture every event, keep it whole, and make the five questions people actually ask fast enough to ask casually.
A dashboard nobody opens is a cost. We would rather ship one query that changes a decision.
Fewer moving parts, older and duller technology, more sleep. Our uptime is not an accident.
We sell software. Your visitors' behaviour is not a second revenue stream, and it never will be.
The team is distributed across Europe. Production runs in Frankfurt with a warm replica in Helsinki; both are EU jurisdictions and data does not leave them, backups included.
